It was a busy few hours on Nov. 26 as local businesses and community organizations readied their entries for the Santa Claus Parade.
In the Town of Virden's former recycling warehouse, Chris Scott, Tiffany Cameron, Jason Heaman and Chelsy MacInnis busied themselves for most of the day decorating the Very Virden Christmas float.
Meanwhile, in a shop down the street Kelvin Kilford, Caron Kyle and Norma MacLaughlan ensured Santa Claus and his reindeer were ready to go.
