For over a year the Elkhorn Memorial Park Revitalization Project committee, Area Foundation and other community groups have been busy raising money for an update to the Elkhorn Memorial Park to make it inclusive for all ages and abilities. So, it was a great Christmas surprise when Tundra Oil and Gas, part of the Richardson Foundation, made a special donation to the project with a $50,000 cheque on Dec. 12.

The oversized check was presented to the community at the Elkhorn Memorial Park with students, seniors, committee members of the revitalization project, the Foundation, and local government representatives in attendance.

Craig Lane, a former Manson resident and V.P. at Tundra Oil and Gas, made the presentation saying, "We are always glad to help out area community projects where we work and live."

Brenda Orr, chair of the Elkhorn and Area Foundation said, "Thank you so much for this donation. We are now over half-way to our financial goal to revitalize the Elkhorn Memorial Park as a place for all ages.”
