Festival art to adorn the Station

Virden's Station gallery will showcase festival art entries for the Month of April

For the month of April, Arts Mosaic is collaborating with Virden Music & Arts Festival to showcase paintings, drawings, posters, mixed media, ceramics, sculptures and even calligraphy.

The whole gallery will be occupied with over 250 beautiful pieces, beginning on April 9, with the opening reception set to begin at 4 p.m. Snacks and refreshments will be available, donations are greatly appreciated.

These festival entries come from K classes to Gr. 12 work.

Virden artist, Iris Munchinsky will adjudicate the festival entries. She has studied with world-renowned impressionistic artist, Ilona Royce Smithkin and has taken figure drawing and watercolour classes. Munchinsky has taught children’s and adult art classes for many years and her work has appeared in art galleries in Brandon and Virden.
