While mother nature may have different plans, Directors with Golf Manitoba and Golf Canada are getting ready to open the 2018 golf season.

The two organizations have teamed up to host a Spring Information Meeting at the Southwood Golf & Country Club in Winnipeg on Saturday, April 28th.

The meeting is aimed to increase communications between member clubs and allows club professionals and golfers to discuss new programs and initiatives with representatives at both the provincial and national level.

Golf Manitoba is also hoping that each member club provides one male and one female representative to assist in the communication between the club and the organization.

Along with the Spring Information Meeting, Golf Canada and the United States Golf Association (USGA) have teamed up to offer a Handicap Education Seminar on Saturday, April 21st at the Breezy Bend Country Club.

Golf Manitoba is encouraging clubs to have volunteers and staff to attend. These people will then become resources at the club level for all handicap inquiries.

Please RSVP your attendance to 204-925-5730 or [email protected] by April 17th.
