Hitchhiker feared lost in blizzard

People are concerned about a many who headed off on foot in a blizzard.

On February 20, 2022, at approximately 8:25 pm, Dauphin RCMP received a report of a missing male. Jagger Beaulieu, 27, was last seen in Gilbert Plains around noon on February 19, 2022. It is believed Beaulieu may have been hitchhiking to Portage la Prairie.

Police are unsure of the route he may have been attempting to use to catch a ride, but the starting point would have been Highway 5. At the time, there were blizzard conditions. Beaulieu has not been seen or heard from since.

Beaulieu is described as Indigenous, 6’0”, 220 pounds, with shoulder-length dark hair, and a tattoo of “Jag” on his hand. He is possibly wearing a dark grey jacket with a white stripe, black neck warmer, grey toque, black jeans, and black shoes.
