Manitoba High School Rodeo Association (MHSRA) Junior Finals and High School Rodeo were held May 27-28 at Oak Lake Ag Grounds.
Junior Finals 1st Go started at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and were followed by Junior Finals 2nd Go and High School Rodeo.
Gr. 12 scholarship interviews were held at 6:00 p.m. in the Oak Lake Hall, and a roping contest and dance were held at 9:00 p.m.
Junior Finals 3rd Go with High School Rodeo started up at 10:00 a.m.
Sixty students, from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, entered multiple categories at the rodeo. Junior finalists will move on to national competition in Lebanon, Tennessee from June 18-24.
Standing first is Madison Magee of Deloraine, Jacee Boise of Hartney and Tess Morton of Souris N.D. stood second and third going into the Juniors in Tennessee.
