Virden Lions sprang to life as soon as Covid restrictions lifted and they've enjoyed an active year in 2022 which has included care for the Lions campground, clean-up in the area and again, going forward with the Lions' Peace Poster.
Joan Veselovsky, a former school teacher, has taken the Peace Poster project in hand for a number of years, encouraging school participation. Now, Joan has formally joined the Virden Lions.
The club continues to encourage new Lions to join, both ladies and men. Several women are now part of Virden Lions Club.
