The fireworks competition, Living Skies Come Alive, held at Moosomin Lake Regional Park where the crowd was approximately 5,000 strong, Sunday evening. Saturday evening the Canadian Fireworks company CanFire Pyrotechnics from Winnipeg put on the show, while Sunday night featured a Chinese company, FireShow, who purportedly stole the show. Fireworks originated in China, dating back to the seventh century where they were part of social festivities. Mark Humphries from Elkhorn emceed the event, while Thomas Humphries was the sound engineer for this large event.
