TUESDAY, APRIL 24, 2018

Smoking accounts for 85% of all new cases of lung cancer in Canada*.

The Manitoba Lung Association will be holding the annual ManitobaQuits Spring Break quit smoking challenge from May 1st - 31st.

Manitobans can register today until April 30th for the chance to win great prizes throughout the month of May, including entry to win ONE of TWO grand-prizes at the end of the month.

There is no cost to register and all registrants receive a Quit Kit and will have access to support throughout the month of May.

The Manitoba Lung Associations’ Tobacco Programs Coordinator, Anjie Valgardon says “There are 7000 different chemicals in every burning cigarette**... why would you pay to poison yourself everyday? With our ManitobaQuits program you are more likely to achieve success with a strong support network, you might even win a prize! Best of all, it’s free!”
