The fall windup meeting of the Morning Ladies Wellview Golf Club was held at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 9, at the golf club with 15 members in attendance. President Joan Veselovsky commented on a very good spring tournament, also thanking everyone who had worked on flower beds and everyone's participation.
She also remarked that she would like to see a wall or divider in the clubhouse accommodating small group or private meetings within the clubhouse. Sandra Good, our sports captain, was also thanked for her diligence.
Secretary Kay Kristjanson, read the minutes. One highlight was the vote to help finance the washroom repairs on #5, and #6 holes with $1200 this fall. Karen McKinnon has agreed to be the contact person in conversation with President Jeff Peel of the Virden Wellview Golf Course.
Sandra Goode spoke of a ruling on #3 and #8 on the golf course. She also presented prizes to those of us who had participated.
