Name the pups
Similar to the opportunity to name foals eligible to become Musical Ride mounts, the RCMP training Depot runs a contest to name pups who are eligible to join the force. From the RCMP Depot Division Facebook page, here’s the news:
“Kids, it’s that time of year! The annual Name the Puppy Contest kicked off in (late) February. Please “paws” for a moment to help us name Canada’s future RCMP dogs.”
There’s still time if you are inspired to name a pup. Take part in the contest following these rules:
-names must begin with the letter “T”
-be one or two syllables and have no more than nine letters.
-contestants must live in Canada and be 4 to 14 years of age.
-the deadline to enter is Monday, March 25, 2024.
