On Thursday, June 15, the grade 7/8 class presented their Life Stories & Legacies biographies at our annual celebration event.  Many grandparents and family members were in attendance,  sharing in our appreciation of our elders and all of their achievements and contributions.   Support for the project is provided by Canada’s History, the Canadian Teachers’ Federation and the Fort la Bosse ESD grant. Our Heritage Fair Winners (as determined by our panel of judges) were Mei Thiessen, Macey Hume and Gavin Podobni.   Mei and Macey each created a Young Citizens video, and everyone is invited to watch them and vote.  Go online and visit YoungCitizens.ca,  and search using the keywords “Mei” and “Macey”.  The winner of the Young Citizens video competition will win a trip to Ottawa!

On Tuesday, June 20th, early years students had lots of fun participating in their annual track and field day.  Outdoor games and challenges were organized and led by staff, parents and students.  The weather was warm, the sun was out, and many great school memories were made!
