It's December 17 and I've just spotted Santa Claus cruising the streets of Hamiota.
Santa was flying solo this year, but probably not for long. I don’t think Mrs. Claus was too keen on the Polaris ride, although it’s a beauty and Santa must have ordered it specially for the Hamiota drive-by. I hear the Lady Claus is holding out for the actual reindeer and sleigh, but we’ll see in just a bit.
The Claus couple is due in Miniota tonight at 7:30 I hear. By then, the reindeer may have been caught and harnessed. If not, well … Miniota Fire Department usually comes to the rescue.
