In a quieter week, Westman RCMP had 33 police occurrences from Nov. 29 to Dec. 5.
Nov. 29 – RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Melita for a report that the property owner no longer wanted her friend there. The friend left the house voluntarily.
Nov. 29 – RCMP received a report of a historical assault that occurred in Melita. The investigation is ongoing.
Dec. 1 – RCMP were dispatched to Sinclair for a report of a Break and Enter. Several items were stolen including tools, a black dell computer monitor, and a thermal camera. Total value of approximately $2,500. The investigation is ongoing.
Police also completed three Covid Compliance checks and responded to eight traffic complaints which resulted in two traffic tickets.
