Two people were arrested on various theft charges after a routine traffic stop last night.
Just before 7:00 p.m., the owner of a stolen truck called Police and told them he was following the truck in the downtown area.
BPS stopped the truck on Rosser Avenue and a man and a woman were arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
It was later determined that the woman, a 24-year-old from Virden was responsible for a theft on April 4th.
She will appear in court today.
Meanwhile, the man will appear in court in June.
The truck had been reported stolen sometime Tuesday night from a home on the 200 block of Middelton Avenue.
