Brandon, MB – Exercise your brain and join the Alzheimer Society for their 1st Annual Brandon Trivia Challenge, at the Brandon Clarion Hotel & Suites Ballroom on Tuesday, March 27th from 6:30-10:30 pm. Teams of 10 will compete in 10 fast-paced rounds of trivia for the title of Grand Champion. Registration is $30 per person with an option to collect pledges to help support the important work of the Alzheimer Society.
“Brandon is thrilled to host their first ever Trivia Challenge,” says Whitney Strachan, Events & Administrative Coordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba in Brandon. “We feel this is a great event for our community as it promotes brain health and supports those affected by dementia. Teams have the opportunity to raise funds for the event with some great incentives.”
Each team raising $500+ in pledges above their registration fees will receive a round of complimentary drinks and an appetizer platter for their team. Participants can register as a team or individual with a maximum of 10 people per team.
Currently, more than 22,500 Manitobans have Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia. The Brandon Trivia Challenge event raises money to support the Society’s programs and services for people affected by dementia, and in the search for a cure.
“We hope to see many of our supporters out here for the event,” says Whitney. “I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out and I hope the Brandon Trivia Challenge continues to grow each year!”
