Miniota by Linda Clark

Belated Mother’s Day Greetings! With the beautiful weather on Sunday, I hope you all enjoyed your day.

Congratulations to Peyton Hawtin on his graduation from Animal Sciences at Dawson College in Montana. Jon, Deanna, Ashten and Addy Hawtin and Enid Haines attended his graduation ceremonies.

The sacrament of baptism was celebrated this past Sunday at the Miniota United Church when Lainey Jean, daughter of Luke and Courtney Muir was baptized. Many of her family and friends attended the service in Lainey’s honour.

Our Miniota community extends best wishes to Betty Howard who is now living at Elkview Lodge in Elkhorn.

Our youth are busy with this year’s ball season. Check out our local teams at the sports grounds on several evenings each week.
