Club West 15U girls volleyball team starts the year off with a tournament win. Club West split their team into two when they entered the Oxbow tournament. Both teams played extremely well and ended up playing each other in the final. Club West 1 finished the tournament with a record of 8-0 and Club West 2 finished with a match victory of 7-1 losing their only match to the other Club West Team.
Even though it is early in season the girls played extremely well. Everybody got lots of court time and the ball was distributed well throughout the weekend. Led by Provincial All-Star Maddie Lesnor the girls put on an offensive clinic at times.
With a lot of season left, and lots of improving to do, it promises to be an excellent season. The next couple of weekends the girls will be playing tournaments in Regina.
