The girls defeated a tough East Central team two straight in the final to win their third straight tournament last weekend, Feb 17-18.
In round robin play the girls played Dynamo from Saskatoon and Leroy volleyball club defeating them both in two straight. That set up a match with East Central Club in which Rage pulled off a 23-25, 25-19 and 19-17 win to finish first in pool.
In quarter final action West defeated JCVC Club out of Saskatoon 25-15, 25-16 to move to the semis.
Next, West played Carlyle, who have pushed West in the past. Not so this day, as West stepped up their game and defeated them 25-17, 25-14.
This set up a rematch with East Central; but West was on its game and controlled it from start to finish winning 17 and 16.
West 15U have this weekend off as the 13U and 14U are off to Regina and Portage for tournaments.
