The Oil Caps Training Camp was held from Apr. 21 – 23 at the Tundra Oil & Gas Place arena. Head scout, Chad Leslie, and his scouting staff assembled 52, (2002 born) Bantam players from all over Manitoba to attend the training camp.
Troy Leslie, Oil Caps Head Coach, ran practice sessions with the players. Skills practices and small arena games were held. There was a goaltender session held by Brian Elder and Ryan Potter. Special team scrimmages allowed all players a chance to be on the power play.
Great appreciation is given to this years’ corporate partner, Virden Chrysler Dodge; as well as to current Oil Caps team players who volunteered to help with the training camp.
