The women’s hockey teams played a hard and fast hockey game, with Regina Rebels winning 4 to 1 against the Westman Wildcats on Friday afternoon, Sept. 8 at the Tundra Oil & Gas Place arena.
New players on the Westman Wildcats team for the 2017-18 season are: Jori Hansen-Young, Calista Green, Charly Lindberg, Shaylee Scraba, Kaydence Shewchuk, Alecia Simpson, andAshley Spence.
Coaches for the Wildcats are Head Coach Guy Williams and Assistant Coach Myles Hubbard. Team managers include Krista Clyne and Breigh O'Hara.
Regina Rebels coaches for the 2017-18 season are: Head Coach Mike Merk, Practice Coaches Brent Bobyck and Corey Terry. The team manager is Sandy Kosteniuk.
The two teams will play against each other again on Sept. 15 at the Great Plains Arena during a weekend tournament in Regina.
