Skate Virden’s Year End Gala

The Culmination of a Year's Worth of Practice and Competition

Mar. 18, 2018 at TOGP

Reactions ranged from “aww” to “wow!” Sunday afternoon as skaters of all levels staged Skate Virden’s year end gala.

Three CanSkate classes – Red, Yellow and Blue – did their level best to stay upright while showing what they’ve learned this year.

Three precision groups, including an adult women’s team, took to the ice in matching costumes and perfectly synchronized moves to music that makes you want to lace up and join them.

The group programs were punctuated by skaters who performed their individual solos and then came together at the end for an energized group skate in a choreographed number that showcased their power and speed.

(See our Facebook page where we've posted video clips from the Gala).
