In preparation for the Canada Summer Games,Team Manitoba is playing Team Saskatchewan on Hamiota’s baseball field, Jul 26. As well as a filling the bleachers, a huge crowd lines the fence to watch a tight game as Manitoba finished 5-4. From southwestern Manitoba there’s John Patmore (Pipestone); Lyndon Zimmer (Inglis), Reece Wilson and Jared Bridges (Brandon), Noah Geekie (Strathclair), and Jared McCorrister (Boissevain); as well as a number of players from Winnipeg and southeastern Manitoba. Coaching Staff includes Head Coach - Faron Asham (Brandon), Assistant Coach - Glen Hunter (Winnipeg), Assistant Coach - Blair Tweet (Russell), Assistant Coach - Ryan Borody (Portage) and Business Manager - Aaron Tycoles (Rivers).
