Manitou RCMP responds to break and enter at Pilot Mound pharmacy

On May 25, 2017, at approximately 8:00 am, officers from the Manitou RCMP Detachment responded to a report of a break and enter at the Pilot Mound Pharmacy.

On May 25, 2017, at approximately 8:00 am, officers from the Manitou RCMP Detachment responded to a report of a break and enter at the Pilot Mound Pharmacy.

Officers attended and discovered that a suspect had entered the pharmacy in the early morning hours by forcing their way through the front door. Surveillance video from the pharmacy shows our suspect as being male, slim to average build, wearing blue jeans, a black hoody, gloves, and something black covering his face.

Once inside, approximately 4300 pills were taken, including numerous narcotics and controlled stimulants.

RCMP are warning the general public of the dangers of ingesting any prescription medication without the consent of a medical professional.
