Police search for man accused in homicide

RCMP ask the public for help locating a suspect but warn not to appraoch.

A man accused of manslaughter has breached his court-ordered conditions and there are two warrants out for his arrest. 

Over two years ago, on August 14, 2019, 40-year-old Matthew Swain was found dead near Russell on Hwy 16.

On March 1, 2021, Robert Fleury was charged with manslaughter in relation to the homicide of Matthew Swain that day in August of 2019. He was one of two men from the Gambler First Nation charged in connection with the fatal assault of 40-year-old Swain.

Fleury was since released from custody, but has breached his conditions and is wanted by RCMP.
