Angie's Natural Health & More store had only been open a month when last September's downtown fire caused serious smoke damage that shut the store down.
Now, almost five months later, Angie Whittle and her store are back in business. She held a Grand Reopening on Saturday, Feb. 10.
Cake, a door prize and discounts greeted customers to the newly painted and decorated store that seems airier and brighter than before the devastating fire that nearly saw the building condemned.

Wesley Braybrook of Virden was the first customer through the doors when Angie's opened Saturday. He said he's glad to see the store back in business.
He prefers to shop locally rather than go to Brandon, and Angie's is the only Virden store selling the liquid vitamins he takes.
The store will be open Saturday until 3 p.m. welcoming visitors to come take a look.
