Take your own ride and your photo!

A motorcycle poker derby set to raise funds for the Y's programs.

The YWCA Brandon is announcing changes to the upcoming Ride a Mile Poker Derby event, originally schedule to take place Saturday September 12th.

Due to our region being in a Covid-19 Code Orange, we can no longer host this event at a single location at a single time. Instead we are asking all those who want to participate and support YWCA Brandon to register and take the ride on their own time. During the week of September 5-12 registered riders are asked to take their own ride, and if possible send us photos of you in each town our stops were planned, Neepawa, Sandy Lake and Russell. You can do this in one day, or take the whole week, whatever works for each rider.

Each hand will still cost $25, and we will draw your hand upon paid registration. That is your complete hand from start to finish. Non riders are also able to take part by paying $25 per hand – even better if you can take a car ride to each town and post photos.

If you want to register go to ywcabrandon.ca and register in the events section. Or you can register by emailing BJ at [email protected]
