A 28-year-old man from the RM of Prairie Lakes died as a result of injuries he sustained in a snowmobile accident on Saturday.
Killarney RCMP responded to the report of a snow machine collision near Orillia St. northwest of the town of Ninette just after 1:15 p.m.
The driver had been travelling northbound on the side of the road when it appears he may have veered off the road and hit a tree. He was not wearing a helmet.
A separate snowmobile accident claimed the life of another man in Churchill over the weekend. A 20-year-old man from Churchill, also not wearing a helmet, died in that incident.
