Late Monday afternoon, Nov. 26, Wallace District Fire Department attend a fire located about six kms north of Virden in a farm yard. A towering plume of dense black smoke turned to a white cloud as the fire was doused with water. It appeared to have been a vehicle fire parked at a distance from the residence.
