Elroy Dooley has resigned as Poppy Campaign Chairman, a role that he first undertook 21 years ago.
This year, Linda Smith and Shelley Savy are Co-chairs of this campaign to celebrate Remembrance Day, honour veterans and raise funds for the Legion.
On two Fridays, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 you will find Legion members selling poppies at Valleyview Co-op grocery store.
Poppies and the donation boxes will be available at other businesses around town.
