RCMP investigate multiple theft reports

Police are looking for leads regarding three calves reported stolen in the Municipality of Two Borders.

During the week of Nov. 2nd to Nov. 8th, the Westman RCMP dealt with 66 police activities.

 

Nov. 2 - RCMP were dispatched to the Municipality of Two Borders for a report of three stolen calves. The matter is still under investigation.

 

Nov. 2 - RCMP were dispatched to Pierson for a report of a stolen truck. The truck was recovered in Killarney. The matter is still under investigation.

 

Nov. 3 - RCMP were dispatched to the RM of Wallace-Woodworth for a report of a stolen ATV. The matter is still under investigation.

 

Nov. 6 - RCMP were dispatched to Sioux Valley for a report of a person who knocked on the front door and then pushed the home owner when the door was opened. When police followed up with the victim, she refused to say what happened. She did not sustain any injuries.

 

Nov. 6 - RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Sioux Valley for a report of a disturbance. A 28-year-old female and a 28-year-old male were both arrested for assault, and released on a future Court date.

 

Nov. 7 - RCMP were dispatched to a residence in Sioux Valley for a report of an assault. A 26-year-old male was arrested for assault, and released on a future Court date.

 

Nov. 7 - RCMP were dispatched to the RM of Wallace-Woodworth for a report of a vehicle fire. Subsequent to investigation it was determined the vehicle had been stolen.

 

Two COVID compliance checks, five well being checks and 14 traffic enforcement actions were undertaken during this reporting period.
