RCMP looking for the suspect in Dauphin murder

Dauphin RCMP respond to stabbing

A stabbing incident at Dauphin has left one man dead and another injured. Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.

 

At approximately 3:40 a.m. on August 15, Dauphin RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the 100 block of 7th Avenue SE.

When they got there, a 32-year-old man was found dead.

Officers were also made aware that a second person was injured at the residence and had made his way to the hospital. The injured 18-year-old male was treated and has since been released.

Nicholas Ryan-McKinnon, 23-years-old, is Wanted for 2nd degree murder and aggravated assault.

He is described as 6’ tall, 165 lbs, with light-brown hair, and blue eyes. Nicholas Ryan-McKinnnon is from British-Columbia but has been living in the Dauphin area since December, 2019. He may still be in the Dauphin area.

Investigators with Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services are assisting with this ongoing investigation.
