Virden Royal Purple has been very active in the Community in January, February and March of 2020.
A Poster Contest with regard to Brain Injury Awareness has been offered to all schools in the Fort La Bosse School Division for Kindergarten to Grade Eight.The association provides support for those who suffer from a brain injury and, they educate to prevent brain injuries.
Three schools participated and after the posters were judged at the local level, nine posters were sent on to the Provincial level for judging. The Provincial winners will be announced in the beginning of May.
Local students were presented with the certificates and cheques in February and March.
Donations were also presented to two local families to help with medical expenses for children with health problems and to assist another family with expenses from a house fire.
