Theft in Virden, gas and dash, B & E at River Valley School

During the week of March 23 - 30, the Westman RCMP dealt with 76 police activities.

 

March 25 - RCMP responded to a report of a theft from a business in Virden. The investigation is continuing.

March 27 - RCMP responded to a report of a domestic assault in Sioux Valley. A 29-year-old female has been charged for assault and was released for a future court date.

March 27 - RCMP responded to a report of a male in Sioux Valley causing a disturbance. Upon locating the individual, it was learned that he was breaching his court-imposed release conditions. A 32-year-old male was remanded into custody.

March 27 - RCMP responded to a report of a gas and dash from a service station in Virden. The investigation is continuing.

March 28 - RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at the River Valley School in the RM of Wallace Woodworth. Six youth were caught leaving the location. All were issued warnings and agreed to pay/work off the damage caused to the interior of the building.

March 30 - RCMP responded to a report of the same male arrested on March 27, having been released from court earlier in the day breaching his release conditions. He was arrested and remanded into custody.

March 30 - RCMP responded to a report of a domestic assault in Virden. After investigation, a 27-year-old female was charged for assault, and a 33-year-old male was charged for sexual assault. Both are scheduled to appear in court.

30 traffic enforcement actions were taken by RCMP during this reporting period.
