(l-r) Declan, Mark and Sam Cosgrove of Virden cleaned up at recent Manitoba Motocross awards in Winnipeg.

The family that vrooms together, wins together.

The Manitoba Motocross Association held its annual awards ceremony in Winnipeg last Saturday, Oct. 26 and the Cosgrove family of Virden, owners of the MADESA track, made their mark.

Declan Cosgrove finished second overall in the 250B and Open B classes. Younger brother Sam won in 85cc and Open 85 classes as well as Most Improved Rider in 85cc.

The family business, MADESA, owned and operated by Mark Cosgrove and Pam Grieve, took the trophy for Track of the Year.

Their facility northeast of Virden has only been open a few seasons but is attracting racers from across the prairies.
