• Council accepted the quotation of Russell Redi-Mix Concrete to pave designated intersecting streets abutting Market Street in Foxwarren at the cost of $15,500.

• Council authorized Linda Clark and Roger Wilson or alternate to attend the EMS Facilities Closures presentation on Sept. 11.

• Prairie View Municipality will send a nomination to the Manitoba Council on Aging Recognition Awards.

• The RM has reviewed and discussed the proposed Settlement Centres mapping and Livestock Policy for the proposed changes to the Mid-West Planning District Draft Development Plan, and wish to make the proposed revisions as outlined in the attached schedules, and to further advise no further changes are required to the proposed Livestock Policy.

• The Miniota and Area Foundation has now completed all legal requirements to be named an official entity; and the Council authorized the CAO to pay out the funds held in trust in the amount of $30,524.48 to the Miniota and Area Foundation and authorize the Plan 24 account be closed out.

• Council authorized the legal survey of the current Wattsview Loading Station at NE 17-16-27W and to proceed with the application for subdivision to purchase the property as required.

• Council agreed to manage the finances of the Birtle Hall entity, and that signing authority be as per By-Law #2016-15 Designated Officers, effective Jan. 1, 2017.

• Council will send a representative to the Communities in Bloom Conference.

• Prairie View Municipality accepted the offer to lease mineral rights from Prairie Land and Investment Services on the SW 5-16-27W dated Aug. 17, 2017.

• The Council gave By-Law # 2017-08 Recreation Reserve being a by-law to establish a Recreation Reserve Fund, second reading. Council gave By-Law # 2017-08 Recreation Reserve a third and final reading and all present voted yes.

• Council of the Prairie View Municipality hereby approves for the use of the municipal logo was approved.
