Cara, Tyler Bedford, and Collie of Edmonton and Steven Bedford of Red Deer visited their Grandma, Maxine Bedford on the weekend.

We welcome Noella Lachapelle and Pat Robinson who have recently moved here to Princess Lodge.

A few of the residents enjoyed the trip to the Austin Museum on Tuesday.

Joe Poppel accompanied Mark Poppel to Pilger, SK, where they were met by Gary and Em Poppel of Leduc, AB. They all attended the 85th birthday of Joe’s brother Mike Poppel.

Kathryn Poppel of Blackfoot, AB, Laura Poppel of Calgary, AB and Lindsay Pollard of Kitscoty, AB were visitors with Wayne and Susan Poppel; Jeff and Ashleigh Poppel, Mason, Noah and Emmett. It was a busy weekend celebrating at Kathryn’s bridal shower in the rink on Saturday afternoon, and Mason’s Birthday on Sunday. Susan Poppel was surprised to see her sister Jan Malanowich and cousins Barb Finkbeiner, Pat Van Haute, and Heather Borland all of Winnipeg arrive for Kathryn’s bridal shower.

Congratulations to Loren Argue who received her Diploma in Business Administration from Assiniboine Community College. Those visiting with Danny and Karen Argue, and celebrating with Loren, were Nathan and Brittini Argue of Edmonton and Colin Argue and Darla Shirley, Amelia and Payton of Whitecourt, AB.

Congratulations to Sean and April McKean of Cromer, as they had Keaten Cade baptized on Saturday morning at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

 

Parkissimo Lodge

Dorothea Amy spent the May long weekend at the Russell Inn with 22 family members from Stony Mountain, AB, Elkhorn, Moosomin, Hamiota, and Birtle, helping her celebrate her 95th birthday. She spent her real date, May 30, at the farm with Lynn and Marlene Amy.

On Sunday, Dorothy Argue went to Brandon to help celebrate her grandson Tyler Perchaluk’s birthday.

Susan Soderberg of Saskatoon was visiting with her mother Sandra Nash, and helped her move into Suite 6.

Last week Dorothy Argue attended her granddaughter Loren Argue’s graduations from Assiniboine Community College.

On Saturday, Dorothy saw her great-grandson Keaten Kade McKean baptized in the Holy Trinity Church.
On Monday, Nathan and Brittini Argue visited for the afternoon with Grandma Dot.

 

Kenton

Tess Stevenson of Kenton has completed her Bachelor of Science degree, from Brandon University; graduating with Highest Distinction and receiving the Silver Medal for mathematics.

She will be going back to Brandon University in the fall to begin a degree in Education.
