Working to bring economic development and interest to the RM of Sifton, Rachelle Stannage has created Country Charm Market, a Christmas season pop-up store located in Oak Lake’s newest community facility, Oxcart Station.
Vendors from as far afield as Brandon, Birtle, and Virden along with local talented crafters are represented in the beautiful displays of giftware.
Here you will find items for babies, handcrafted jewelry, art décor by Brooklyn Mason, wood signs and gameboards laser engraved by DP Designs, Dirty Word Custom clothing, Circle O Alpacas adorable teddy bears, socks and toques and there’s edible treats.
“This is one of our big sellers, soup mixes. They’re by Lori Ritchie,” says Stannage.
From Routledge Road Photography, there are beautiful canvasses by Alleesha MacDonald.
The Sista Shop from Birtle is also one of the 30 vendors in this gift shop filled with a wide variety of arts and crafts. “I was pretty excited as it came together,” said Stannage of the well-stocked pop-up store.
Featuring the work of homebased business crafts people in small communities of Westman, Stannage says. “It’s nice to be able to help support local people.”
Located at 272 Oxcart Trail, Though December until Christmas, the Market is open late-day on Mondays and Wednesdays and early-day on Saturday.
