Two area athletes will be representing their province at the 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships.
Elkhorn’s Kirby Gray and Natalie Rampton of Kenton have been named to Team Manitoba for the prestigious event in Grande Prairie, Alta. in May. Gray, a forward, and Rampton, a goaltender, both play for the U18 AAA Yellowhead Chiefs female team.
Last year Gray helped Team Manitoba win the silver medals in Winnipeg. Rampton was an alternate for that squad.
