It was a great day to come together to remember our friends, Denis 'Deco' Decroliere and Tom Wardman. With the help of everyone who participated and made pledges, we managed to raise a sizable donation to help others who are going through this hard journey.
We received the final pledges and everything has been tallied. The 2023 Memorial Ride that was held on July 23, 2023 raised just shy of $3,050 so we rounded it up to that amount and the cheque has been sent in.
As we had a small amount of left-over food and drinks, what could be, was donated to the Virden and Area Food Cupboard for those in need. We appreciate the support from our local communities (Oak Lake, Virden and surrounding areas) and the biking community, which turned up in force, to make this day so successful.
