Virden's Station gallery welcomes works by artist Mary Lowe

Arts Mosaic’s station gallery is open on Canada Day

Arts Mosaic welcomes Mary Lowe as the July Exhibition in the Gallery. Mary’s work spans decades and murals of recognition are the Virden Heritage Mural, the Elkhorn Auto Museum and Hamiota Heritage Mural.

The Studio is offering two community projects: “Wings” and “Rock Snake”. Patrons are welcome to come to The Station and decorate a feather or two that will be collaged into a large set of wings and displayed in the community as a selfie station!

If painting sounds more enticing, a Rock Snake has shown up in the front garden and is hungry. Paint a rock and add it to the snake. Let’s see how long we can make it grow!

New to The Station is The Information Centre. Whether it’s instruction in the arts, auditions, or upcoming live entertainment, this is the stop for everything happening in our district. Arts Mosaic invites you to hang your information. Those interested in exhibiting, offering a workshop, or volunteering, should contact Arts Mosaic.

SUMMER STUDENT

Arts Mosaic welcomes summer student Daelyn Fefchak. She can be found at the Costume Closet, Mondays and Thursdays from 3-6 p.m., helping you pick out that fabulous outfit for your next event. Other times, Daelyn will also be at The Station making music and tapping into your creativity. Arts Mosaic’s social media will have info on dates and times.

For the month of July, Station is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 6 pm plus a shorter day on Saturdays -  10am - 2pm.

The Station will be open on Canada Day, 10am -2 pm so stop in, do something creative and visit the Mosaic Market to grab a unique gift.
