We welcome Robert and Pauline Fleury to our community. They have purchased the former Donna Bonner trailer.

Stan and Bonnie Bryant’s Arizona winter friends, Keith Miller and Cheryl Brown stopped in for a visit as they travelled home from a wedding in Alberta to their home at Buckhorn, Ontario.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Lisa Zurbyk and David Buchannan and their sons Kyle, Dylan and Corbin on the death of Lisa’s sister, Janice Sommerville at Morley House, Shoal Lake.  Our sympathy also to Lisa’s parents and extended family.

My apologies to Kyle Buchanan who I missed on the list of students heading off to college.  Kyle is enrolled at Assiniboine Community College in Brandon and is studying network administration technology.  Good luck Kyle.

Linda Clark, Cherilynn Pizzey, Brett and Kim Clark and Levi and Katrina Ferguson travelled to Wabigoon Lake, Ont. to attend the wedding of Austin Morton-Reid and Makenzie Sutton on Sept. 9.

We also welcome Davey Couvier and her husband Braedan Passalis and their son Calder from Winnipeg who are living in Delbert and Pat Cole’s rental. Braedan has secured a position at the Moosomin Health Facility as an occupational therapist.

Special birthday wishes are in order for Betty Howard at Elkview Lodge in Elkhorn as she will be celebrating a milestone birthday shortly – her 90th. Cindy Howard is home visiting her mom.

Our countryside is beautiful as it changes daily before our eyes with so much colour. “The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let things go.”  Author Unknown

Les and Bernice Graham spent the Labour Day weekend with Tim and Heather Graham and family in Rocanville.

Lorraine Kirkup and Mrs. Zarn from Reston visited Ethel Bowles on Wednesday.

Alice Polk visited Ethel Bowles on Friday.

Sept. 11, Maurice with the handi van is taking some residents to Eternal Springs for a picnic.

The United Church had their rummage sale and noon luncheon, Sept. 8. Maurice is a busy man; he took a van load to the rink to enjoy the lunch.

Get well wishes from the residents to Sheila Pierce.

The Oil Caps hockey started Sept. 10, so it will give me something to do – I love hockey.
