New York City where Lana and Max join other travelers who are making their way out of the chaos in the city, away to a new frontier: Chuck, a tech genius, Arlys, a journalist using pen and paper to record what she sees, Fred, her young colleague, and Rachel and Jonah, a doctor and paramedic who are caring for a young mother and three infants.
