Is there anyone out there interested in purchasing our new History Book? We want everyone to pre-order so that we know how many books to get printed. We don’t want to have a lot left over so please get your order in – we don’t want anyone to be disappointed. The history book will cover the previous R.M. of Miniota so that means, Arrow River, Beulah, Crandall, Isabella and Miniota. There will be a lot of reading in this book. To pre-order you can send a cheque for the deposit of $50 payable to Prairie View Municipality and mail it to Bridging the Years Box 145 Miniota, MB R0M 1M0. We will be taking orders until September 15, 2017. Don’t be disappointed – get your order in soon!

Congratulations to Kathryn Poppel and Brandon Pollard of Blackfoot Alberta who were married on Sept. 9th in Kitscoty, Alberta. Many friends joined in the celebration.

Wayne and Susan Poppel travelled to Blackfoot Alberta to attend the wedding of their daughter Kathryn to Brandon Pollard.

Jeff and Ashleigh Poppel, Mason, Noah and Emmett enjoyed a two week holiday to Brooks, Calgary, Drumheller, Edmonton and Blackfoot where they also attended Kathryn and Brandon’s wedding.

On Sunday Dorothy Argue helped celebrate her sister Lil Horner’s 90th birthday at Ken and Irene McFarlin’s home in Rapid City with all of her family.
