Evergreen Place By Gerry Fowler Phyllis Gompf and son Barry of Oak Lake attended the celebration of life for Shirley Smith formerly of Oak Lake at Brockie Donovan Chapel in Brandon, Saturday, April 27. Lunch followed at the Clarion Hotel.

Miniota By Bev Peel Mac and Pat Lelond have returned from a visit with the Jody and Ken Still family. They spent the first five days in Fort Saskatchewan watching Dannica in a dance competition.

In communities big and small, urban and rural across Canada, volunteers make things happen. In many cases recognition is given to these volunteers who give freely of their time and skills.
