When a hail storm hit Elkhorn and severely damaged the Elkhorn Handi Van, the community sprang into action to replace it. Recently the Elkhorn Handi Van committee completed its fundraising goal of $73,000 along with some extra revenue.

RCMP assures council regarding property crimes
RCMP Corporal Matt Hipwell had good news for Council at the regular public meeting, August 16. Three males have been charged with thefts or break and enter in Virden and RCMP are optimistic these arrests will reduce the property crimes in the area.
