Arts Mosaic, for the month of July, is hosting artists and friends Bev Karnes and Lesly Moffitt. Together the duo put on a beautiful exhibit of prairie theme art called “Hope and a Prairie”.

Oak Lake Island Resort campground will be a busy place this summer with many upcoming events. On Saturday afternoon, Jul. 8 the campground will host a Reptile Exhibit from Tag ‘Em Entertainment out of Brandon.

Lesley Moffitt, an Oak Lake Beach resident, uses a variety of artistic talents in her fabric art. She has been doing fabric art since 2008, and likes it because, “It incorporates so many different arts into one piece.

Artist Karyn Kowal’s display of Paverpol multi-media sculptures and portrait canvases drew a gasp from some of the visitors stepping into her reception display, at Arts Mosaic’s CPR Historic Centre gallery. The reception held Friday, Jun.

Sunday evening, June 4, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, country gospel duo, Great Plains, amazed audience with heartfelt music. Darrel Delaronde is originally a Saskatchewan boy, and Saskia Delaronde grew up in Holland.

Susan Bridgeman, of Alexander, has been decorating caked since the summer of 2013. Bridgeman uses different mediums to make her astonishing cakes. She has been known to make multiple tiered cakes using rice crispy or puffed wheat cake.
